Taxi 2 continues to excel, with the recent announcement it was awarded the DU Real Estate Expo’s “Project of the Year Award,” an honor that closely follows the Mayor’s “Density by Design” award, presented to Taxi 2 in the fall.
“This recognition, combined with the incredible number of businesses and people who are deciding to call Taxi home, shows that River North has become downtown’s most exciting new neighborhood,” said Mickey Zeppelin of Zeppelin Development Inc., who, along with his son Kyle, developed Taxi. “Taxi represents a new approach to how people want to live, work and gather. At Taxi people experience sustainable, livable and beautifully designed live-and-work spaces in an urban location that cannot be beat.”
Located just north of Coors Field and adjacent to the South Platte River, Taxi has added 60,000 sq ft of flex-office and commercial space and 40,000 sq ft of two-story residential lofts to Denver. Three nationally prominent architects San Francisco’s David Baker, Arizona’s Will Bruder and Aspen’s Harry Teague worked in an unprecedented collaboration with the Zeppelin team to design Taxi. Onsite amenities include Taxi’s Fuel Café featuring locally sourced ingredients and a fitness studio opening in the spring.
