1. Rueter-Hess Dam & Reservoir

2. Northern Water Reclamation Facility

Start: June 2003 Completion: March 2007

Reclamation facility with an ultimate treatment capacity of 20 mgd, incorporating raw wastewater screening, grit removal, grit/screening truck haul facilities and an odor-controlled building.

3. Utah Park

Renovation of popular 47-acre park, which also functions as a flood control facility, so that it embraces the natural creeks that flow into the site. Highlights include the custom-designed “Waves” shade structure.

4. 75th Street Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrades
Boulder

Start: January 2006 Finish: November 2007

Expansion of the plant's treatment capacity from 20.5 mgd to 25 mgd and conversion of the secondary treatment process from a trickling filter/solids, contract process to an activated sludge process. Involves retrofit to an existing pump station, three new activated sludge aeration basins, a new blower building and new secondary clarifier.

5. Denver Water Capitol Hill Recycled Water Tank

Conveyance of reuse water from Denver Metro's WTP, with demolition of the 240,000-sq-ft roof, wall sections and part of the base slab on an existing 29-mg tank; erection and back-fill of a new 6-mg, post-tensioned concrete tank at the demolished portions of existing tank; and placement of welded steel yard piping, one 120-in. stand pipe butterfly and manholes.

6. Loveland WTP Improvements–Phase 1

Includes construction of a new 10-mg flocculation/sedimentation facility; flocc/sed improvements; filter plant improvements; new intake raw metering facility; relocation of carbon feed system; and lab expansion.

6. Genesee Dam No. 2

New roller-compacted concrete dam, 110 acre-ft of storage, outlet structure, blasting quarry and crushing of materials onsite.

8. Gross Reservoir Hydroelectric Project

$10.7 million

Engineer: Denver Water
Start: September 2005 Finish: May 2007

Construction of powerhouse facility and installation of two owner-furnished hydroelectric turbines at existing facility, a 4-in. service water line inside existing dam, large-diameter buried penstock piping tied into the existing vaults to the new powerhouse, dewatering plan, switchyard, flow meter vault and equipment installation.
