2005 ACEC/CO Engineering Excellence Awards

Twenty-four Colorado engineering firms vied for top honors at the American Council of Engineering Companies of Colorado 2005 Engineering Excellence Awards on Nov. 1.

The annual ACEC/CO competition recognizes engineering achievements that demonstrate ingenuity and significant technical, economic or social advancements by Colorado-based engineering firms.

The five judging criteria were originality and innovation, meeting and exceeding client needs, social and economic value, complexity, and future value to the engineering profession. The seven top entries will compete in the national ACEC competition in Washington, D.C. in February 2005.
