Colorado Developers of the Year

This issue of Colorado Construction features our developers of the year: four firms instrumental in changing downtown Denver for the better. From Evan Makovsky’s patient and determined redevelopment of Block 162 to the Nichols Partnership’s troubled but innovative Spire, to Opus’ market-savvy LoDo buildings and Trammell Crow’s stunning new TOD office space in the Central Platte Valley, these infill projects will change the lives of downtown residents.

Also featured with the Top Developers is a Neighborhood Report on downtown Denver, which includes an article on One Lincoln Park, selected by our editorial board as the Denver Downtown Project of the Year. The $100-million, 32-story residential tower opened in March as one of the central business district’s largest transit-oriented developments to date. The building, constructed on a unique triangular site, has transformed the skyline at the eastern edge of the city.
