AGC/C and OSHA Sign CHASE Agreement
The Associated General Contractors of Colorado and the two
Region VIII OSHA offices recently signed an agreement intended
to foster a better working relationship and improve the industry's
image. The Construction Health and Safety Excellence Agreement
was signed March 25 at AGC/C's General Membership Meeting.
CHASE is part of a national partnering program to reduce construction
accidents. AGC/C will use the CHASE requirements to evaluate
company safety programs for eligibility and help partnering
contractors improve their safety records. In turn, OSHA will
target its limited resources toward jobsites that may have
problems.
