Shaw Construction Building New CSU Parking Garage/Construction Under Way on Parker Adventist Hospital Expansion
Construction Starts on CSU’s First Multi-level Parking Structure
Shaw Construction of Denver will build Lake Street Garage, the first multi-level parking structure to be built on the main campus of Colorado State University. The 297,000-sq-ft project will consist of four levels with parking for approximately 850 vehicles.
In addition to parking, 13,000 sq ft of office space will be built within the garage for the Parking Services Division of the CSU Police Department. The project also includes an option to add 5,000 sq ft of tenant office shell on the first and second levels at the south end of the structure and to convert 2,800 sq ft of parking to tenant office or retail shell on the first level at the north end.
The building is LEED Gold-certified and will offer separate parking for fuel-efficient/low-emitting vehicles, as well as bicycle parking.
H+L Architecture of Denver is the project architect.
AR7, Golden High School Win CFPI Award
