Arapahoe Roofing Wins CRA Award
Arapahoe Roofing & Sheet Metal was recently awarded the
2003 Colorado Roofing Association's "job of the year"
for both steep and flat roofing.
The new roof at The Ritz Carlton Hotel in Beaver Creek was
installed with a staggered tile, heavy cedar shake and copper
metal roofs and flashings. The building is 12 stories tall
with 12/12 roof pitches throughout the roof areas.
The roof at Colorado Mills shopping center is approximately
30 acres, the largest single roof in the Rocky Mountain area.
Arapahoe not only won the CRA job of the year, but also scored
a perfect 10 out of 10 for quality with Firestone Building
Products Co.

Time Frame Celebrates 10 Years
Time Frame Photography & Art Illustration is celebrating
its 10th year in business serving Colorado's construction
and architecture industries.
Photographer Fred J. Fuhrmeister and Illustrator Cheryl G.
Fuhrmeister have seen a lot of Denver's visions become reality
since starting their business in 1993. One of their earlier
projects was progress/finish photography and architectural
renderings of the construction of D.I.A.
In addition to providing photography for many ACE Award-winning
projects, Time Frame has received numerous awards for its
work over the past decade, including recognition by Agfa Corp.
in 1996 as being "One of the Top 50 Photographers in
America," and a listing in the internationally acclaimed
"Who's Who in Photography."
Time Frame has also worked with Colorado Construction magazine
for the past five years, providing photography and illustrations
for many of the magazine's covers and feature stories.
Restoration Specialists Inc. to Renovate Tivoli Brewery
Restoration Specialists Inc. has been awarded a $2.8 million
renovation of the exterior facade of the historic Tivoli Brewery.
The project consists of removing paint coatings and repairing
the brick on all of the structures, which date back to the
1800s. The building, which currently houses the Auraria Campus
Student Union, will be returned to its original exposed-brick
appearance. Completion is scheduled for fall 2004.

Ridge Crane & Rigging Opens New Facility in Gypsum
Ridge Crane & Rigging has expanded its service into the
mountains. With the establishment of a new facility in Gypsum,
Ridge will now provide operated crane and construction equipment
rentals with local service to Summit, Lake, Eagle, Garfield,
Routt and Pitkin counties.
Arnold Mabee has been selected to head the new mountain division.
He is an eight-year resident of Vail Valley and most recently
held the position of branch manager for Webb Crane Service,
which ceased operations in May.

HPE Inc. Announces New CEO and Address
R. Dean Steward, chairman and owner of Heating & Plumbing
Engineers Inc., has announced that William T. (Bill) Eustace
has been appointed as president and CEO.
Effective June 27, 2003, Eustace appointed Tim Donegan and
John Taylor as vice presidents. Donegan and Taylor will continue
their respective duties in Colorado Springs and Denver.
In December of 2002, HPE purchased a building at 715 Vallejo
St. and moved its Denver operations there. The new location
augments the Colorado Springs headquarters with two project
managers, five CAD designers, the Denver service manager and
its Denver area field superintendents.

Robinson Brick Co. Acquires Montana and Wyoming Companies
Denver-based Robinson Brick Co. has acquired Billings Brick
& Masonry Supply in Billings and Cody Brick & Masonry
Supply in Cody. In addition, the company has expanded into
the packaged concrete and mortar market with the acquisition
of Rocky Mountain Concrete Products in Billings. The three
operations will be combined under the LLC, Robinson Brick
Co. - Billings.
