Riviera Expands By 25/UCHSC Awards Anderson
Honorary Doctorate/Four Colorado SMPS Members Earn CPSM Designation
Twenty five new hires have boosted
the staff at Riviera Electric's at its Littleton, Colorado
Springs and mountain offices, with most of the new employees
are working on the Memorial Women's & Children's Hospital
project.
Riviera Electric has hired
25 new employees. They are as follows:
Prefabrication department in Littleton - Francisco Hernandez,
Jose Rodriquez, Oumar Ndiaye, Sean Keller and Armando Campuzano,
apprentices. Ken Tatman, journeyman, returned to the company
and is working at the Coors Brewery in Golden.
Line operations department in Littleton - Michael
Maxwell, Dustin Johannsen,
Chris Cabriales and Matt
Gonzales, groundmen.
Roaring Fork High School project - Andrew Patchett, apprentice.
Memorial Women's & Children's Hospital project in Colorado
Springs - Gene Denmark, Travis Hagen, Chad Pool, Nathan Scollon,
Andrew Farris, Jerome Archer, Patrick Martinez, Brandon Freeman,
Kevin Givens, Jack Young, Stephen Friend, Patrick Howie and
Sean Whitlock, apprentices; and Ken Murten, journeyman
Dennis Hanneman, PE, was named
geotechnical engineering group leader for Kleinfelder
Inc.'s Denver area while Jeff
Markovich has joined the firm's Colorado Springs office
as program manager of military operations.
Gary Wegman, PE, returned to
Swanson Rink team as a senior
electrical engineer while Sondra Bonham
and Matt Morroni, RCDD, joined
the Denver-based consulting engineering firm as a project
manager and telecommunications project designer, respectively.
W.E. O'Neil Construction Co.
named two new project managers - Stephen
Mager and Donald Missey;
Lance Kitt is also now a project
manager.
Denver architect John Anderson,
founding principal of Anderson Mason
Dale Architects, was awarded an honorary Doctor of
Humane Letters degree this spring from the University of Colorado
at Denver and Health Sciences Center.
Sherri Goldstein was named
senior commercial accounts manager at Land
Title Guarantee Co., where she will oversee customer
acquisition and commercial relationship management of broker,
developer and attorney accounts.
Four members of the Colorado Chapter of the Society for Marketing
Professional Services earned their designations as
certified professional services marketers - Pat
Andrews, business development manager, CTL/Thompson,
Denver; Tiffany Ehling, business
development coordinator, MA Mortenson
Co., Denver; Lori Slivensky,
senior marketing coordinator, Swinerton
Builders, Arvada; and
Margo Waisanen, business development
coordinator, Terracon, Wheat
Ridge.
Laura Kannady, PE, and Matthew
Schlageter, PE, LEED AP, were promoted to associate
at Martin/Martin Inc. Consulting
Engineers.
Two new members were also elected to the firm's board of
directors - Jack Petersen, PE;

members who were re-elected are John

Drexel, Barrell & Co.'s
John Ewy, PE, CFM, was certified
by the U.S. Green Building Council as a LEED-accredited professional.
Shelly Cockrell and Hillary
Lewis of OZ Architecture passed the LEED accreditation
exam, bringing to 18 the total number of LEED-certified staffers
at the firm.
Molly Chan, PE, has joined
TW Hartmann Inc. in Fort Collins
as a principal. She is licensed in Colorado and Wyoming.
Davey Tree Expert Co. promoted
John Bretsch to district manager,
David Paricio to assistant district
manager at the east Denver office and Vince
Distrola to sales representative for the west Denver
office.
James Brady, PE, was promoted
to vice president at Wilson & Co.

Thomas Harper was named to
the newly created position of vice president of supply chain
services at HomeSphere, a technology-leveraged
service provider to residential home builders.
ASCG Inc., formerly McLaughlin
Water Engineers, hired three civil engineers at its Lakewood
office - Lisa Claus, EI, Darin
Bartles, EI, and Chris Castelli,
PE.
Michael Van Gilder was named
chief executive officer of Van Gilder
Insurance Corp., becoming the fourth generation to
lead the 101-year-old organization. He succeeds his father,
Dell Van Gilder Jr., who will continue to serve as chairman
of the board of directors.
Zeppelin Development founder
Mickey Zeppelin was recently
awarded the Downtown Denver Partnership's third annual Rickenbaugh
Community Service Award.
Katie Bisgard was promoted
to senior project manager for Kieding
Office Architects.
Nolin Renfrow joined the The
Durrant Group Inc.'s Denver office as business development
manager; and Ellen Wuori was
promoted to marketing coordinator.
Landscape architect and urban designer
James Hyatt joined ValleyCrest
Companies to head Hyatt Studio, a newly-established
landscape architecture and planning firm in Denver.
Buddy Poppitt joined M+O+A
Architectural Partnership as a senior designer.
Dave Sandlin re-joined GE
Johnson Construction Co. in the role of construction
executive. He will be based at GE Johnson's newly expanded
Denver office.
Pia Lindgren joined Studio
NYL Structural Engineers as a junior engineer.
White Construction Group added
three superintendents to its staff - Bill
Davis, Mark Davis and
Mike Garecht.
GEI Consultants Inc. in Centennial
named Doug Charlton, PhD, as
regional manager; and William Cincilla
as senior engineering geologist.
Eric Rubottom, CTS, LEED AP,
of Beaudin Ganze Consulting Engineers
Inc., earned his Certified Technology Specialist certification
from InfoComm International.
Michelle Jones joined Carter
& Burgess as director of corporate marketing.
Heath Construction added a
new member to its "steel team" - James
McManaman, project engineer.
