Gould Named RNL’s Board Chair/Forest City Stapleton Promotes Four/Lindquist & Vennum Adds Two Attorneys
RNL CEO Joshua Gould has been named the firm’s chairman of the board, and the Denver design firm has promoted and added more than a dozen employees.
RNL of Denver’s chief executive officer, H. Joshua Gould, AIA, LEED AP, was appointed chairman of the board, while design principal Michael Brendle, FAIA, named a board member.
In other firm promotions, Tania Salgado, AIA, LEED AP, was promoted to associate principal. Nancy Hughes-Allen, Jeff Lakey and Tom Hootman, AIA, LEED AP, were promoted to senior associates. Jess Alexander; Danny Darr, AIA, LEED AP; Adam Fitzgerald, AIA; David Key; Chris Meier, RA; Rachel Petro, LEED AP; Sarah Rege, AIA, LEED AP; Jeff Richards; and Paul Ruffini, PE, LEED AP were promoted to associates.
Seven people also joined the staff: Mary Beth Caccitolo, interior designer; Sydney Hamilton, LEED AP, Christopher Fenton and Nathan Huyler, architectural interns; Don Ryan, senior urban designer and associate in the urban design and landscape architecture studio; Clarice Shephard, AIA, project architect; Scott Anderson, landscape architect; and Anne Wattenberg, AIA, senior project architect.
Forest City Stapleton Inc., master developer of the Stapleton redevelopment project in Denver, has promoted four associates – Heidi Majerik to senior residential development director; Lisa Hall to builder program director for residential development; Ray Robbins to project manager for residential development; and Tasha Jones to assistant marketing manager for residential marketing.
JE Dunn Construction in Denver has promoted Doug Geist, LEED AP, to director of MEP services; Ken Gibson to senior project manager; George Kroll to senior safety specialist; Frank Stump and Chad Mussman to senior superintendents; and Dennis Kirby and Troy Leiting to superintendents.
The contractor also has hired Brendan O’Brien, estimator; and Lina Stinnett, LEED AP, a quality assurance and building information modeling specialist.
Brett Gilbert, PE, was named Bornengineering’s new director of civil engineering while the firm’s director of site and building evaluation, Justin Foy, RS, was elected president of the board for the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Community Associations Institute.
Chris Frampton was named managing partner of East West Partners’ Riverfront Park in the Central Platte Valley while Andy Hines has been promoted to director of sales and Caroline Ellett has been promoted to director of marketing.
Jeff Kishel, PE, was made a senior vice president at Stantec in Denver. His responsibilities include overseeing all of the firm’s operations and staff within its environmental group.
Gordon “Jeff” Fassett, PE, and Maureen Paz de Araujo joined HDR—Gordon as the company’s national director for water resources, based in Cheyenne; and Paz de Araujo, AICP, as a senior transportation planner in the Colorado Springs office.
Lindquist & Vennum PLLP added two attorneys to the construction litigation practice at the firm’s Rocky Mountain regional office – Tiffanie Stasiak, partner; and Michael Bonifazi, associate. Matthew McElhiney also joined the firm as a partner in the real estate practice group.
Jason Golden, a superintendent for MW GOLDEN CONSTRUCTORS, received the 2006 President’s Award from the Associated Builders and Contractors. He was recognized for work with ABC’s Business Leadership Development group.
Terry Hutton was hired as a senior estimator at Fransen Pittman General Contractors in Englewood.
Tara Burke, Assoc. AIA, was named an associate at John Williams Architecture PC.
MKK Consulting Engineers Inc. promoted Angie Huber, PE, LEED AP, and Ruben Rodriguez, PE, to associates.
Randy DeMario, president of Heath Construction, was named the northern Colorado region’s 2006 Business Leader of the Year by the Fort Collins Coloradoan. His company was also a finalist in the “Best Place to Work” category.
Don Bailey joined Sturgeon Electric Co. Inc. as senior estimator.
Bob Butt, PE, of The RMH Group, was named executive director of the Rocky Mountain Chapter of 7X24 Exchange, an educational organization for people who design, build and operate mission-critical infrastructure. He succeeds former RMH employee Gil Roper.
In other firm personnel news, Tony Lott, PE; Dave Kahn, PE; Phil Kocher, PE; Evelyn Klemme; and RMH President Bill Green, PE; have earned professional accreditation through the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED program.
John Krane was appointed branch manager for Sterling Crane in Arvada, where he oversees operations of the company’s fleet throughout the Denver metro area, Colorado and neighboring states.
Three new associates were named at Martin/Martin Inc. in Lakewood – John Brunner, PE; Andre Schlappe, PE; and Patricia Sullivan, PE.
Engineer Jeffrey Holste, EI, engineer; and Christopher Wheeler, project designer, joined JR Engineering in Colorado.
Also, Austin Creswell, PE, a senior project engineer for the water resources group, acquired his professional engineer license, while project surveyors Dustin Hoaglin, PLS, and James Reichhoff, PLS, received their professional surveyors licenses in Colorado.
Hunter Stoltz and Justin McLead joined Taylor Kohrs LLC in Denver as project managers.
Mike Sullivan joined Triumph Real Estate Corp. in Englewood as vice president and director of development.
Joe Pahl, AIA, principal of Pahl Architecture in Denver, and staff member Kevin Gates have earned LEED accreditation from the U.S. Green Building Council.
