Denver Design Firms OZ, RNL and MOA Add to Their Staffs

OZ Architecture has promoted six of its staff members to associate principal. They are: Elaine Jensen, director of marketing; Heike Kerbs, AIA; Susan Belblom; Don Schieferecke, AIA; Brian Haffey; and Liz Rane.

The firm also promoted five other staff members— Jenette Alie, Nancy Blackwood, Susan Kohuth, LEED AP, and Tom Hoover—to senior associate positions.


RNL added four new professionals to its Denver office—Gabriel Gomez, architectural intern with the model shop; Linda Rogers, architectural model shop coordinator; Michael Slater, interior designer; and Katia Thomas, LEED AP, senior project architect.


MOA Architecture added four new professionals to its staff in Denver—Raven Payment, administrative coordinator; Ryan Lemon and Jerry Cook, intern architects; and Kevin Vrba, job captain.


Klipp has hired former Daily Journal editor Diana Murphy as the marketing coordinator for the design firm’s retail studio.


Benton Grismer joined Pahl Architecture in Denver as a CAD technician and creator of 3-D renderings for the firm’s “on-the-boards” projects.


Arthur Hirsch joined the water resources team at Olsson Associates in Denver while Bryant Walters, PE, joined the firm as a senior engineer.


Troy “Chip” Pilkington and Eric Amen were appointed to new positions at Wagner Equipment Co., the Caterpillar dealer for Colorado, New Mexico and El Paso, Texas. Pilkington is now the product support representative for the Durango territory while Amen is the agricultural sales representative for the company's Caterpillar/Challenger dealer.


Palace Construction added two new professionals—Jonathan Enos, project manager; and Luis Vega, project superintendent.


Ridley Moorman, PE, joined Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc. in Denver as western region senior project manager of transportation services.


Nate Jenkins was named director of design at Alberta Development Partners LLC. Before joining Alberta, Jenkins worked for Callison, where he spent more than eight years in the firm’s Seattle office as an architectural designer.


Brenda Wood was appointed business development coordinator at Alliance Construction Solutions in Loveland while Jim LeJeune joined the company as a superintendent and Matt Hunzinger and Matt Jardine joined as engineers.


Andrew Garner, PE, was promoted to geotechnical department manager for Terracon Consultants Inc.’s Denver office while Andrei Bedoya, PE, was named manager of the firm’s Pueblo office.


Kent Marsh, PE, joined Drexel, Barrell & Co. as regional manager for its Grand Junction office. 

Before joining the firm, Marsh worked as both a development and capital projects engineer for the city of Grand Junction.


John Rauvola was appointed executive vice president for sales, marketing and product management at Aurora-based BonaKemi USA. The company also added three new regional team managers—Pat Cooney, Frank Szubart and Eric Bennett.


Daniel Grant, PE, joined Corey Electrical Engineering Inc. in Englewood as engineering manager.


David Lyle, principal with Beaudin Ganze Consulting Engineers Inc., passed the ACG AABC Commissioning Group certification exam and has been granted certification as an ACG-certified commissioning authority.


Adam Balaban and Katie Anderson joined Humphries Poli Architects in Denver as project designers.


Gary Dominguez was named a senior project manager at Castle Rock-based White Construction Group, where his responsibilities include the coordination of site improvement plans, business development and project management.


The Home Builders Association of Metro Denver appointed Jim Fitzmorris, PE, to its board of directors. Fitzmorris is principal and vice president of JR Engineering.


Rodney Gunlikson joined Taylor Kohrs in Denver as a superintendent while Scott Heasty and Michael French have joined the general contracting company as project engineers.
