Alberta Hires New Executive Director/Fransen Pittman Promotes Firm Leaders

Robert L. Walter joined Alberta Development Partners of Greenwood Village as executive director of Construction.

Alberta Development Partners of Greenwood Village recently announced that Robert L. Walter has joined the company as executive director of construction. His primary responsibilities include the management and execution of the development and construction of Alberta’s retail and mixed-use developments.

Walter joins Alberta from Centro, where he served as director of construction. Over the course of his career, Walter has served as project manager on a number of retail and commercial construction projects. He has also served as an owner’s representative for Neiman Marcus and The Ellman Cos., ensuring successful completion of their development projects. With more than 20 years of experience, Walter has developed more than five million sq ft of retail space.


Sturgeon Electric Co. recently announced the addition two people to its staff: Jeffrey J. Waneka Joseph Badaracco. Both men have completed all requirements for certification as a Construction Safety Trained Supervisor.


Von Fransen, chairman and CEO of Englewood-based Fransen Pittman General Contractors, has announced the promotion of members of the firm’s executive leadership team. 

John Pittman, formerly vice president, has been promoted to president. Pittman will direct the overall operations of the company.

Jim Andrews has been promoted to vice president of operations and business development. Andrews will lead business development activities, including sales, marketing and relationship development.

Tim Williams has been appointed to vice president and general superintendent of field operations.  Williams started his career in carpentry more than 30 years ago and progressed to become a senior superintendent. He now manages Fransen Pittman’s field operations, including all safety, quality control and professional development programs.


Power Motive Corp. recently announced that Bob Davis has been named president. In his new position, Davis is responsible for setting the strategic direction for the company and for overseeing day-to-day operations.

Davis has served as vice president of operations for the past six years at Power Motive. He joined when ownership at the company was expanded to include management. With more than 20 years of experience in the heavy machinery industry, Davis has excelled at increasing growth and developing expanded product support programs for dealerships.

A native of Georgia, Davis earned a bachelor’s degree in public administration from Auburn University in Auburn, Ala.


Bryce Ballew of Jordy Construction recently passed the LEED exam and received his designation as a LEED-accredited professional. Ballew is a project engineer and holds a construction management degree from Colorado State University.
