Nolte Expands Staff/Autodesk Honors Schultz/Ankmar Names New Leaders Interns

Nolte Associates Inc. Engineering adds new staff members to its offices in Denver, Fort Collins and Colorado Springs.

Four new engineers have joined Nolte Associates Inc. Engineering - Justin Beckner, PE, civil design senior engineer in the Fort Collins office; Dale Ekberg, PE, senior engineer in Colorado Springs; John Oppenheim, PE, also a senior engineer in Colorado Springs; and Yong Song, PE, engineering manager in Denver.

Dan Miller has been named vice president at HDR's Denver office and Bahram Seifipour, PE, has joined the firm as a senior transportation manager

Dave Hall, who has more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry, including extensive experience in retail shopping centers, industrial complexes, restaurants and banks.has joined Pinkard Construction Co. as a project superintendent.

John Cochran has been promoted to the position of construction manager at The Weitz Co., where he has been a leader for the Weitz Rocky Mountain Business Unit since 2001.

Jay Ireland, AIA, has been promoted to senior associate at klipp. Ireland is currently serving as project manager for a graduate student housing project.

H+L Architecture has added nine new staff members over the past few months.
New architectural design staff includes Peter Kalotay, John Fuentes, Greg Mueller, Maggie Boyd, Kaye Mullaney and Anthony Nutsch.
Brenda Chrisman has joined the firm's interior design department; April Bender has been added to its landscape staff; and Cheryl Muench has joined as human resources director.
Lou Galetta, Maria "Net" Durner and Matt Fridley have also joined H+L's architectural design team in the Colorado Springs office.

Courtney White is serving as White Construction Group's project manager for two projects the company has been recently awarded by the city of Black Hawk while Larry Itzen, who has more than than 17 years of experience in all facets of commercial construction, has joined the company as a superintendent/manager.

Jerod Costner, Geoff Gerring and Allyson Mendenhall have been named associates in Design Workshop's Denver office while Steven Spears was named an associate in the Aspen office.

Nunn Construction Inc. in Colorado Springs has welcomed three people to its staff - Rick Wood, estimator; Sue Ellsworth, marketing coordinator; and Jennifer Harris,project coordinator.

Jim Gusky, PE, has been promoted to project manager at Vision Land Consultants Inc. and Katie Knapp, PE, and Jon Nelson, PE, have both joined the firm as project engineers.

Terry Autry, PE, a mechanical engineer, project manager and LEED-accredited professional; and Wes McKinney, PE, an electrical engineer and project manager, have been named company vice presidents at The RMH Group.

Dan Rhodes and Beth Gulley have joined Wenk Associates Inc. as staff landscape architects.

Jarod Schultz, vice president of technical services and an instructor at CAD-1 Inc. has been named 2004 Instructor of the Year from Autodesk.
CAD-1 has also announced the addition of a new team member, Warren Geissler, who has joined the center as a product and training specialist, focusing on the Autodesk Civil and GIS product line.

Brian Scheffe joined Front Range Precast Concrete as a technical representative, working directly with engineers across the state to promote best practices in onsite wastewater, including FLXX Watertight concrete tanks and HOOT aerobic treatment units, and serve as an in-house technical resource for homeowners and regulators across the state.

Wade Gilbert, PE, a senior geotechnical engineer; and Andy Brummer, project manager/environmental scientist, have joined Kumar & Associates Inc. while Allen Barton has been promoted from the construction materials testing department to business development.

Curtis Scharfenaker, AIA, has joined RNL Design, where he is responsible for expanding the firm's existing presence in the domestic and international commercial mixed-use markets.

Dave Einfeldt has joined Opus Northwest LLC as a senior project manager, where he is responsible for oversight of overall design, budget, scheduling and construction processes. He will also establish and manage the scope of projects from the conceptual stage through design, construction, occupancy and warranty periods.

William Smith and Tom Sojak have joined Ankmar LLC - Smith as president and CEO; Sojak as vice president of marketing.

Jane Crisler, an historic preservation specialist; Sydney Hamilton, designer; and Guy Sitzman, landscape architect; have joined Humphries Poli Architects in Denver.

  • Tim Maley, has 30 years of experience that includes construction financing and architectural plan development, has joined Roche Constructors Inc. as director of business development for its Westminster office.
  • Thomas Jenkins has been promoted to field survey manager at the Boulder office of Drexel, Barrell & Co. His responsibilities include the supervision and scheduling of survey crews.
  • Paul Adolph has joined Sholar Design & Construction as director of construction operations, where his responsibilities include overseeing all commercial construction management practices for the company.
  • The following individuals are participating in Martin/Martin Inc. Consulting Engineers' internship program this summer at the firm's Lakewood office: Carly Skinner, Alyssa Moody, Andrea Hodler, Cory Whitton, Emily Nelson, Jacob O'Brien, Kailey Petersen, Kelsey Lund, Elizabeth Walters and Daniel Millard.
