RMMI Communications Manager Earns APR/McCauley Hires New Preconstruction Manager/Firms Announce LEED Accreditations
Nancy Partridge, communications manager of the Rocky Mountain Masonry Institute, has earned the Accredited in Public Relations credential from the Public Relations Society of America.
Partridge has been with RMMI since 2006. In that time, she has developed a stakeholder surveying process, written strategic public relations plans, event promotions and logo use policies, a crisis communication plan, more than $280,000 worth of grants, and served as race director for the Rocky Mountain Masonry Foundation’s 5K race, which raises funds for masonry scholarships and engineering and design textbooks.
Five employees from Colorado Springs based Nunn Construction Inc. have recently earned LEED accreditation from the U.S. Green Building Council: Jim Pagano, senior project manager; Terry Vernon, senior project manager; Steve Gassman, senior project manager; Tyson Nunn, vice president; and Steve Dunlap, chief estimator.
Dan Werner recently joined the newly formed preconstruction services operations for Windsor-based McCauley Constructors. He will be heading the department as manager and estimator and will oversee all project budgets, bidding, construction-cost estimating, scheduling, budget control, value engineering and permitting.
The firm also hired Nancy James to manage the firm’s marketing and business development at the main corporate office. Along with her marketing and business expansion role for McCauley, she will provide primary executive support for the president.
Kurt Musgrave and John Parks were recently appointed senior estimators for Denver-based Rocky Mountain Pavement. They will be responsible for estimates, daily operations of sales staff and job costing.
In January, A-One Chip Seal purchased the assets of Rocky Mountain Pavement.
Three project managers from Longmont based Golden Triangle Construction recently earned LEED professional accreditation.
Gary Adams has a bachelor’s degree in management technology with an emphasis in construction from the University of Nebraska and 15 years project management experience.
Andy Wood holds a bachelor’s degree in construction management from Colorado State University and has eight years of project management experience. In addition to being a senior project manager at GTC for nine years, Wood has also been the company’s safety manager for the past five years.
Todd Schroeder holds a bachelor’s degree in construction management from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. He has 10 years of project management and engineering experience.
Ankur Behere, Jessica Lindseth and Eric Kellstrom, project engineers with Denver’s Mortenson Construction, have received LEED accreditation from the U.S. Green Building Council. Company-wide, Mortenson now has 246 LEED-accredited professionals. Larry Lian, a carpenter apprentice with Englewood-based Fransen Pittman General Contractors, was recognized as the Top Student in the Spring 2009 Carpentry II class from the Construction Industry Training Council of Colorado.
Coworkers Tim Kastenbauer and Brian Montgomery were recognized for their perfect attendance record for the same class.
