Tower-Crane Display Unit

The DLZ342 operator display unit is designed to assist in the safe operation of tower cranes. It keeps the operator constantly informed about crane conditions and allows for setting of specific crane-operation records.

The cabin-mounted display unit shows, at a glance, critical parameters, including load weight, moment, slewing angle, trolley radius, hook height, rail traveling, wind speed and date and time. Color coding and alarm warn the operator about a critical condition. The display unit is designed for reading regardless of light-ing conditions.

A memory chip records total number of working hours, total accumulated load, analysis of lifting cycles, details of the last 10 lifting cycles and the last 2,000 recorded events. Transferring data to computer can be done via a USB flash key for analysis.

The DLZ342 features an integrated, work-zone limitation-management system, enabling the operator to store working parameters. The operator is able to concentrate on load handling, because the unit will not allow crane maneuvers outside of the declared zones.

Compact Excavator

The 418 compact excavator has an operating weight of 2,593 lbs and a dig depth of 6 ft. It is for use in tight working areas, next to buildings or other property and areas where it is difficult to transport equipment. The excavator has zero tail swing with tracks extended. Eliminating tail overhang on the machine allows the operator to optimize spoil placement and minimize machine contact with property or other nearby objects.

The 418 can be used by contractors working in excavation, plumbing, landscaping, grading, demolition, electrical and cable applications.

Pilot-operated joysticks control the excavator. The operator reportedly has consistent, smooth and fluid control of the machine, increasing work efficiency and further reducing the possibility of the excavator coming in contact with buildings or other nearby objects. The operator may also choose between ISO and standard pattern joystick operation through a control pattern selector valve. An additional feature is operator comfort. Operators have been given more room by creating two-position joystick consoles.

Truck-Mounted Telescopic Belt Conveyor

The Telebelt TB 600 truck-mounted telescopic belt conveyor features a rated output of 600 cu yd/hour and was engineered to meet high-volume, material-placement demands. It was designed with civil contractors in mind. The unit features a 24-in.-wide main conveyor and feeder belt. The machine handles all flowable materials, including pervious concrete, roller-compacted concrete, soil, cement, flowable fill and large aggregates up to 6 in. in diameter. The feed conveyor also offers fully hydraulic variable speed capabilities. Both belts feature 360-degree, continuous rotation.

Other standard features include unfolding height of 15 ft, 4 in., a 102-ft horizontal reach, four-section telescopic boom, modular boom control system for the main conveyor functions and ergonomic and lightweight proportional radio and cable remote controls. The model reportedly saves time and labor by handling multiple tasks from a single job-site location.
