The annual Top Projects survey is a free editorial service provided by Colorado Construction magazine.

Projects were submitted by Colorado general contractors based on questionnaires mailed to the firms this spring. Only three projects per firm were considered. The top projects were selected from the questionnaires based on the total dollar volume as reported by the GCs. Total construction volume was the only criteria for ranking.

Projects must have been started (for the new projects rankings) or completed (for all other lists) by Colorado contractors during calendar year 2004. Projects whose start or completion dates fall outside that time period were not eligible. Project sites must be located in Colorado.
