Fire Station No. 8

This building replaces the current Fire Station No. 8 built in Colorado Springs in 1966 and is one of the busiest fire stations in Colorado. The all-brick exterior utilizes contrasting colors of brick influenced from a historical context of older fire stations. The scope of masonry work consisted of 85 working days and 140,000 units, including eight-in. blocks and12-in. blocks and bricks.
