75th Street Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrades

The city of Boulder needed to upgrade its 75th Street Wastewater Treatment Plant
to meet federal requirements to reduce ammonia limits and increase overall plant capacity.
Garney Construction was awarded the upgrade contract, which included a series of improvements to the plant’s treatment systems and conversion of the secondary treatment process from a trickling filter/solids contact process to an activated sludge process. Garney crews worked closely with Brown & Caldwell and the city of Boulder to complete the work on schedule, all the while maintaining the plant’s pumping capacity. |
